Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this JR Products Quick Disconnect Propane connector. Has a female quick disconnect on one end and a 1/4-inch female NPT fitting on the other. Now, this connector right here is gonna create a quick disconnect fitting for a low pressure appliance. You can use it to create a new outlet outside of your RV, or you can use it to convert a propane hose into a quick disconnect hose. On this end right here is a 1/4-inch female NPT.
This is designed to mount to a bracket or a bulkhead fitting for a new outlet outside of your RV. Can also be used with an adapter and a regulator to connect to an auxiliary tank. On this end is a model 250 quick disconnect port. This will let you hook up and disconnect without any hand tightening. The lever right here, this is a shut off lever, allows you to completely shut off the gas supply.
You can see, basically if you look on the side here, it'll show you there's the flow direction, the arrow pointing that way, and you'll see on the lever, in this position, it's off, so it means it's blocking it so there's no flow going. If you turn it this way to the On position, then it's in line with it. That means the flow is going. And what's interesting about that is there's a little tab underneath this lever, so when you put it in the On position, that tab prevents that quick disconnect from operating. When you open or close it, then you can see the quick disconnect.
It can work. This is approved for LP and natural gas. It is CSA, CGA, ATA-certified.
